On Wednesday we started at 7.45 am to go by bus to Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. After 2 hours and a stopover in between we arrived there. The first stop was the castle which was on a hill. We went up there by a lift. A tourist guide showed us around the castle.
At the beginning we found out what and how people in the medieval ages ate for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also looked at an original glass from that time. That was quite interesting. Then we went to the castle restaurant where weh ad a wonderful original Slovenian 3 cours lunch with soup, chicken and dessert. In the afternoon we went back to Maribor with a stopover in Cjelje where we could go shopping or drink a coffee.
In the evening we arrived the school and had our last dinner there. After that we thanked the Slovenian teachers and pupils and gave them our presents. We said „Goodbye“ and went back to our hotel to pack our luggage. We really enjoyed the great time in slovenia and look forward to going to Hungary next year.
